Santa's Tree - 2

I added a couple of new stitches

to these ornaments -

a Fly Stitch,

A Ribbed Spider's Web
(my old favorite stitch)

&

my new favorite stitch a Pistil Stitch.

When I use to design cross-stitch patterns,

I used the spider's web a lot, it was

so beautiful with the fine threads.

These stitches don't look to promising 

when you look at the diagrams 

in the stitch books 

but when you use the

beautiful wools & threads,

they are amazing.

I can hardly wait to start ornament

number five - its Santa's very own house!
