Yesterday I read a blog that showed beautiful pictures of the flag and it reminded me of this flag. Last year I heard about a program that our Senator Tom Coburn has. You can order a flag in honor of someone and it will be flown over the United States Capitol. You will receive a certificate showing the date is was flown and the name of the person you wanted it flown in honor of. I had this one flown for my husband, Jerry and his dad Gerald, they both served their country, Jerry in the Navy and Gerald in the Army. It is a very large flag and needs a very tall flagpole.
