I have decided I would not be a good Washington or Oregon type of person - too many clouds, I am ready for green grass and pink flowers! When we lived in CA we had an almond orchard behind our house - blossoms were simply beautiful, a very pale pale pink. The peach blossoms were even prettier - a darker pink. Our trees on this land take forever to start turning green again - BUT I did plant many many red tulips, they should make me smile! Of course we may not be here to see them - today at 11 the realtor is showing the house to a nice couple from Texas that are very excited about it. I hope they love it - it sparkles and shines from all the scrubbing and polishing........
