Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks Magazine....

 Happy May To You All!
I was so happy to be asked
to do a block for
the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine.
&
here it is!
I used cotton fabric for the background,
beautiful hand dyed wool for
the applique pieces
and beautiful
Painter's Threads for
the embroidery
and ribbon flowers.
 The picture in the magazine
is a little on the
dark side,
so if anyone would
like me to send them
a photo please just
email me
I think the block would make
a beautiful fall pillow
or
cute little wallhanging
with 4 blocks!
My husband and I
were sick
most of
March & April
with some sort of weird flu
but I kept working on my new
book when I could sit up for a few hours.
I have about one more week
until its ready for the printer!
Today I got to take a few pictures
and I love the way they turned out.
I have 4 copies of the magazine
to share with 4 of you!
If you please leave a comment,
I will pick the winners
when we return from a short trip!

I hope your spring is great so far,
thank you for visiting!
Elizabeth Ann

I hope you and your hubby are feeling better. We have been going through a strangely long allergy season here in Maryland that just drains energy. Kudos being able to work on your book through your ailment! Congrats on a fantastic block. My fav! I'm going to put it on the to-do list for July. When temperatures soar (I'm not a summer heat fan), I'll work on it, to remind me that fall temperatures are right around the corner!!!
