Autumn At Hawk Run Hollow....

I worked on this piece all weekend when I had some free time and I am going to work on it every night this week and just maybe I might get this block done.  I gave out some advice to a very nice stitcher, about stitching her grass, do a row everyday and before you know it - it will be done.  So now I am going to take my own advice and stitch every night and maybe just maybe it might get done.  Thank the Good Lord the next two blocks are pretty simple.  I really want to hang this piece in the living room SOON.  I am not going to include two of the charted blocks so that will help it along a little. Have you ever seen so much grass......

Grass shmash. It'll make you pull out your hair, won't it?? I know that there are stitchers that love filling in large blocks of color but sometimes it makes me want to pluck out my eyelashes. That said, your AiHRH looks AMAZING!! I love your wool pieces, too. The collage of your Thanksgiving decorations is fantastic! I had my kids home for their midterm break last week and I had grand visions of doing a ton of stuff, including more seasonal stitching, and I got just about jack diddly accomplished. My goal is to one day have enough seasonal things to put out... one day.

Have a great day!

Having stitched Christmas at HRH myself, I know how long these blocks can take! I just love this one, Liz--beautiful work :)

I'm working on a Prairie Schooler with a lot of grass--it sure does take some patience! Hang in there!!
