A Woolly Needlebook....

 I love making needlecases
so yesterday thought I should
make a little fall one.
You can make it up now and
have it ready for yourself
or a friend for the fall season....
The pattern includes a 6" pear pincushion!

Inside is a nice little crow to hold
your pins & needles....
he is made from lovely black wool.

on the back there is
a little bitty birdie....
&
there is a pattern to go on
the pear pincushion if
you decide just
to make a
woolly pear!

I tried a new stitch on this
pattern - new for me that is.
It's a Colonial Knot and I love
the way they turned out on both
pieces.
Hope your week is going well!

The pumpkin on the cover looks puffy & three dimensional - I quite like it! And I love anything with crows so this whole project is a winner in my book - NICE!
