Quilt Number 4!

Really it's only 4 days late from last week's challenge. Thank goodness it was only a challenge to myself! I figured out how to make the orange stretch so I didn't need to go buy more of that fabric but when it got down to the outside border I really needed more fabric. I love this little quilt - it will be so pretty hanging in my entryway this fall.
I am so thankful for my friend Mary Ann's encouragement to learn how to quilt. I have been practicing every night and I am really starting to enjoy it. I have my stitches down pretty good and making circles pretty good but tonight I have to work on waves. Next trip to town I am going to buy some nice gloves to use. My lovely machine came with the correct foot so I don't have to invest in that but just maybe down the road I might have to get the new Janome - I am sure that would make all the difference in the world in my quilting.............
