House on Pumpkin Hill.....

A little pincushion. My dear friend in Idaho sent me a lovely surprise. A whole bag of lovely threads. I can hardly wait to use every single color. Tomorrow I will take a picture of all of them to share with you. I needed just the right thread to embroidery the pumpkins and she had just the perfect thread - Silken Chenille! Have you ever heard of such loviness? You have to use very short pieces but it is just a touch of heaven.
The house passed all the inspections today with flying colors. I was very nervous having 6 men running around my house testing every single thing in it to make sure it work. Did you know if the inside doors don't shut properly it means the house is settling - thank goodness my doors all behaved properly.
Tonight another storm is coming and I am all out of the proper storm food - Hershey Kisses.........

Liz, this is so beautiful. I clicked on the photo to make it larger and could see all the exquisite threads in this wonderful picture.
