For the past few days I have wanted to dig out all my quilting tools and make a lovely yellow and white Pine Tree quilt - really large Pine trees. Cannot find my quilting tools though and its just too hard to set up a place to sew in our little rental so I am just going to have to wait a little while longer. They finally got the permit to build our home and by June 30th it should be more than half done.
So I decided to work on Christmas ornaments. I thought I could do 2 a month but I was wrong - too many projects. I know when I go to decorate this year I will be wishing I had worked harder to achieve my goal.
We went to another fun place this weekend - Pier 1 Imports - Have you been there? I'm sure you have. We bought some fun bar stools, I was good and did not buy any new plates. The new house has two large pantries and I might need just a few new plates to help fill up the space but I will have to wait until I unpack.
I hope your summer is starting off very pleasant - storms and rain are only a memory now. BBQ's, taking evening bike rides and walking barefoot - hmmm sounds good, I'm ready...........
