its perfect for all of us
that wished we could have
gone to the Houston Quilt Festival!
Thank goodness for P to remind
us about it
and so here is my entry!
I started this quilt while in Oklahoma,
it was a block of the month program.
When the first block arrived -
it had blue - lots of blue,
so off I went to the quilt store
and purchased some
pinks and roses,
now that can get expensive.
But every month it
got a little better and I finally
finished it and folded it up
and put it away.
Until we moved into this house.
I sort of fell in love with
turquoise
I painted my cabinet
I painted my bed
and then I needed a quilt for
winter & you would
never guess what looked
perfect - yep that blue quilt.
So when I make myself take my
very favorite quilt off the
bed the pretty new blue quilt will
go on this winter!
