Do you think
"The Best Of New England"
is a little goofy
for a name?
Woolly Autumn
is sort of plain for a name....
The quilt is ready for the quilter,
after I got the borders on
I was a little worried
I picked the wrong fabric
but the binding will just finish it off
perfectly....
Any fabric I tried just sort of sat
there but this little gem
made everything sparkle...
Of course tomorrow I may not
like it at all...
I think I'm just tired,
two days of working on our taxes
wore me right out, they keep
changing the rules.....
Well I have curtains & a tablecloth to make for my
little market booth.
Straight sewing, I should be able to handle that
pretty easily...
Have a wonderful week
&
Happy Easter to you all!

It's a perfect name! I love New England, so it draws me to the quilt for than Woolly Autumn does. Great job! Can I ask a stupid question? Can these quilts with wool be washed?
What a great name, Liz--this quilt perfectly captures the colors of New England in autumn! I can almost smell the fallen leaves and piles of acorns :) Good luck with your market booth preparations! And Happy Easter to you as well :)
I hope you have a happy Easter too.
I like the first name. It is going to be so pretty.
Have a lovely week.
I love the quilt! I can't say the name tugs at my heart strings. The best of NE may mean something to NEnglanders, but it doesn't mean a thing to me. You asked.... I've never been one to shy away from being honest.
How about "Autumn in New England"? (You could then revisit it for other seasons later) ;) Love your new quilt! Absolutely gorgeous!
Blessings, Patti
I agree with Lori and like Pattis suggestion of Autumn in New England.
